Franchise Training

The Kid's Community College® training system is where we begin to separate ourselves from other franchise systems.

Our 1st Degree Franchise Training System is our professional development complement to the 1st Degree Learning System. Through this training you acquire skills rapidly through the initial training program. On-site and ongoing training reinforce those skills.

Our training program will thoroughly prepare you to run your new Kid's Community College® franchise business. We understand that how well we achieve our training objectives not only reflect the effectiveness of the training we provide, but that it also shows the level of care and concern we have for our business and for our franchisees.

Our in-depth initial basic training covers:

  • What you need to know about providing your services
  • How to find the right real estate
  • Dealing with leases, permits and building design
  • Hiring and managing employees
  • How to conduct marketing and merchandising
  • How to do the business accounting
  • Where to get supplies and inventory
  • Getting the equipment you need for the business

Our initial basic training is followed up by thorough on-site training. This means that KCC representatives with direct experience in operating a KCC campus come to your KCC campus and guide you through your grand opening and first weeks of your business operations. This allows you to get hands-on training and become comfortable with the daily running of your new KCC business.

Ongoing training and support include newsletters, meetings, networking, Inter/Intranet sites, evaluations, a toll-free support line, field operations support, and additional training sessions (which are particularly advantageous when we release new products and services). Another area of training and support will involve franchise advisory groups and franchise associations. The creation of these organizations are a sign that we are pay attention to our franchisees. Franchise advisory groups are organized by the the KCC Franchise Business Soltuions team and are made up of representatives from the KCC corporate office and franchisee representatives. They help the us make better decisions, address concerns and improve the relationship between us and our franchisees.

The backbone of our training and support is the KCC Operations Manual. Along with detailing the various aspects of the KCC business, it sets the standard of operations that we expect from our franchisees. Our comprehensive training manual documents every step a franchisee needs to take in the development and operations of his or her new KCC business. Our operations manual and supporting reference manuals are vital to your franchise training. When you receive your initial and on-site training, it's difficult to remember everything you are being taught at once. Our comprehensive documentation reinforces your training and helps you get the most from it - both initially and later on as a way of keeping up a high standard of quality products and services to ensure your franchise's success.
