Looking for a fun and exciting "learning" camp experience over the summer? Then look no further than the Kid’s Community College® Summer Camp Program!

Choose from 12 fun, exciting and educational full-day, week long activity based camps. Also included are weekly field trips, free meals and summer academics. Camp sizes are limited each week to ensure a FUN, SAFE and EFFECTIVE program, but space is limited!

May 29 – June 1
Start off the summer with wild fun and adventure! This week’s activities include an up close encounter with a real life Siberian tiger and a field trip to Lowry Park Zoo!Includes Tiger and Lowry Park Zoo field trip, transportation, nutritious snacks and lunches and a trip to a local Park.

June 4 - 8
Preschoolers will enjoy preparing & cooking a delicious snack with Chef Amy of “Young Chef’s Academy”. Graduates will take a fieldtrip to Parke Family HydroFarm.Includes bowling, special guest chef cooking class, and Parke Family HydroFarm fieldtrip, trans-portation, nutritious snacks and lunches and a trip to a local Park.

June 11 - 15
Watch as we race to our Field Day-with Coach Shelly of “Stretch-n-Grow” Ready, Set, Go! Graduates will enjoy a day at the field watching a Devil Rays Baseball game.Includes Stretch-n-Grow Field Day festivities, roller skating, Devil Rays Baseball game, transportation, nutritious snacks and lunches and a trip to a local Park.

June 18 - 22
Mad Science of Tampa and MOSI join in on the fun in exploring the wonderful world of science.Includes bowling, Mad Science of Tampa and MOSI field trip, transportation, nutritious snacks and lunches and a trip to a local Park.

June 25 – June 29
This week’s activities include a trip to the Florida Aquarium and a visit from the Marine Gang from MOSI.Includes roller skating, Marine Gang and Aquarium field trip, transportation, nutritious snacks and lunches and a trip to a local Park.

July 2 – 6
Celebrate America is the theme for this week’s activities, which include a trip to see the Raymond James Stadium and an extreme ice cream party! (KCC will be closed Wednesday July 4th)Includes Raymond James Stadium fieldtrip, ice cream party, bowling, transportation, nutritious snacks and lunches and a trip to a local Park.

July 9 - July 13
This out of this world experience will include a visit to the Bishop Planetarium at the South Florida Museum and the experience of walking on the moon in the Space Wars bouncer. Far Out!!Includes roller skating, Space Wars bouncy, and Planetarium field trip, transportation, nutritious snacks and lunches and a trip to a local Park.

July 16 – July 20
Come and enjoy a look into our community and those who keep our city safe. We will visit Kid City at the Children’s Museum of Tampa. Our local Fire Station 16 and the Tampa Police Department will also be visiting our school.Includes roller skating, Pony’s Party Plus, Red Barn Petting Farm fieldtrip, transportation, nutritious snacks and lunches and a trip to a local Park.

July 23 – July 27
Old McDonald would be proud! Children will experience a visit from Pony’s Party Plus w/ their petting farm, as well as a fieldtrip off to the Red Barn Petting Farm.Includes roller skating, Pony’s Party Plus, Red Barn Petting Farm fieldtrip, transportation, nutritious snacks and lunches and a trip to a local Park.

July 30 – August 3
Children will experience the Jet Set life with a fieldtrip to the Tampa International Airport!Includes bowling, fieldtrip to Tampa International Airport, transportation, nutritious snacks and lunches and a trip to a local park.


August 6 - 10
Did someone say Jurassic Park? This week’s adventure brings us face to face with reptiles from Pony Party Plus and a visit to Dinosaur World.Includes roller skating, Reptile Encounter and Dinosaur World field trip, transportation, nutritious snacks and lunches and a trip to a local Park.

August 13 - 17
This week begins with a visit from Razzamatazz entertainment, then off to experience an IMAX movie, and rounds off with an end of the summer performance from our Graduates!Includes bowling, Razzmatazz entertainment, IMAX field trip, transportation, nutritious snacks and lunches and a trip to a local Park.

All camps include at least one educational field trip, bowling or skating each week, weekly visit to a partner park in our area (all fieldtrips include transportation), lunch, snacks and a summer camp T-shirt. Academic activities include focus on core concepts, character building, health & nutrition, computer lab, and arts & crafts. A minimum of attendance of four weeks is required with a 2 week deposit. This program will begin on Tuesday, May 29th.

Hours of operation are: 6:45am-6:15pm.

  • Arts & Crafts – All participants will have the opportunity in being creative using their imagination and different Art supplies

  • Sports – All participants will have the opportunity to take part in and learn many organized sports (Flag Football, Kick Ball, Tennis, Basketball, Soccer, Baseball, Track & Field, etc…)
  • Health & Nutrition – All participants will have the opportunity to learn how to live a healthy life through healthy eating habits, exercise tips and knowledge of the body.
  • Show Time – All participants will have the opportunity to take part in an end of the summer talent show where all groups will create an act.
  • Academics – All participants will have the opportunity to stay focus on their academics while improving their knowledge for their upcoming school year.
  • Character Building – All participants will have the opportunity to learn different life skills needed to be a well rounded person.
  • Indoor Activities – All participants will have the opportunity to work in groups and individually to accomplish a goal.
  • Free Play & Computer Time – All students will have the opportunity to cool down and relax after a long summer day.
